The Usage Is There, the Production Is Coming
The Arizona Cardinals visit the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, and our top prop is on Michael Wilson’s receiving yards. His numbers haven’t kept up with the opportunities he’s getting, and the market has overcorrected. Between his usage, the projected game script and a favorable coverage matchup, this is a good spot to buy back in.

One of the NFL’s Highest-Volume Receivers
Wilson has a 24.8% targets-per-route-run rate and a 24.7% target share this season. He has seen at least seven targets in every game, including 17 against San Francisco and 13 against the Giants, and he has played 90% or more of the snaps in nearly every game. He also gets used downfield, ranking 11th in the league in intended air yards. His production isn’t built on a few manufactured touches or unsustainable efficiency. The volume is real.
Production Has Lagged Behind Opportunity
Wilson is averaging 11.5 fantasy points per game against an expected 17.4 based on his volume and target depth. A 5.9-point gap doesn’t guarantee positive regression, but it gives us a reason to buy low on a player whose underlying usage is still strong. He has cleared this number before, too. Since the Week 8 bye in 2025, Wilson has gone over this line in 11 of 17 games, averaging 73.2 yards.
Game Script and Coverage Line Up
Arizona is a 7-point underdog, so the Cardinals should be chasing points and throwing plenty. Dallas has struggled against wide receivers, ranking in the bottom 10 in almost every key pass-defense metric. The Cowboys play man coverage about 46% of the time, the fourth-highest rate in the league, and Wilson has been more productive against man than zone this season. Dallas also uses single-high coverage at the fourth-highest rate, which opens shots downfield for a receiver with Wilson’s air-yards profile.
The Price Is the Story
A few weeks ago, Wilson’s receiving yards line was 67.5 against Detroit. His role hasn’t meaningfully changed since then, but the market has dropped him to 53.5 because his production hasn’t matched his usage. There’s no good reason this number shouldn’t still be in the 60s in this matchup.
Cardinals vs. Cowboys Best Bet
Elite target volume, a negative game script for Arizona, and a Dallas defense that leans on man and single-high coverage all set up well for Wilson. At a discounted number, we’re buying back in.
